Consortium for Tanzania Universities and Research Libraries ( COTUL )

The Consortium of Tanzania University and Research Libraries (COTUL), is a co-operation of Tanzanian universities and Research Institutions’ libraries and other tertiary academic libraries to solve problems pertaining to electronic information resources acquisition, access, usage, sharing and linkages with other libraries. The Five Year Strategic Plan for COTUL has emphatically highlighted the needs of responding to dynamic changes in the information sector.

COTUL charman is is very happy to welcome members to the COTUL Annual General meeting, which will be held in Tanga on 30th September 2010.

The meeting will be preceeded by a Workshop on 29th September 2010.
The Theme of the Workshop is:
Use of Electronic resources.
The theme was found topical due to increased demand from COTUL members, requesting to be assissted on how to register for e journals, as well as how to search and access the resources.
